EECCA Environment Strategy - Information Tool on Partnerships

Welcome to the Database on Partnerships Supporting the Implementation of the EECCA Environment Strategy!

This Internet-based, visual database is developed by the EAP Task Force Secretariat (OECD) to provide access to information on partnerships developed and implemented since 2002 in the countries of Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia (EECCA) to support the achievement of the objectives of the EECCA Environment Strategy. The partnerships are related to all seven Strategy objectives (and a number of sub-objectives) covering a wide range of areas dealing with common environmental problems in the EECCA region.

The interactive Partnership Database allows all partners (e.g. government officials in EECCA and partner countries, representatives of international organisations, non-governmental organisations, private sector and other relevant stakeholders) to search for information on partnerships by different variables e.g. by EECCA Country, Strategy Objectives, Partnership or Partner Type, Partner Country, Budget, Status. The graphics and the visual effects help users to view the search results on the interactive EECCA map. This is especially the case when the partnership is related to a specific location. The partnerships without any specific geographical location (regional and nation-wide partnerships) are listed below the map. By clicking on the partnership icons/titles, users can view detailed partnership data and download related documents.

In the Statistics section you can view both the time trends of key socio-economic country data since 1992 on EECCA countries, as well as statistics directly reflecting the information related to the partnerships entered in the Partnership Database. Users can also create customised/personalised reports on the partnerships implemented within the EECCA Environment Strategy framework, and aggregate them by different partnership characteristics, such as host country, partnership type, environmental sector, and donors involved. In Document Library the users can have direct access to all partnerships related documents stored in the system without searching for them through the Partnership Database.

This Partnership Database allows also the registered users to share and disseminate information on their recent new partnerships or update information on the existing partnerships. They can add new partnership information by filling in the partnership wizard.
